CHRISTOPHER NORTHEY-YOUNGS
Chris is a founding member of ‘Murder We Wrote’ and has written a number of murder mystery scripts, and acted previously with another popular West Country Murder Mystery Company.  He has spent over forty years in theatre as Musical Director, Producer, Director, writer and performer.

He has previously performed in a number of lead roles with theatre companies in both Plymouth and Tavistock [including Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, South Pacific, Calamity Jane, Guys & Dolls, The Crucible, Goodnight Mr Tom, The Wind in the Willows, The Lion in Winter, Allo Allo, She Stoops to Conquer & Abigail’s Party, to name but a few.]

However, since moving to North Devon in 2015 he now prefers the quieter life of the smaller cameo roles, such as Bert Barry in BMCDS 2019 production of ‘42nd Street’. Chris was also Co-Director, technical designer and artistic co-ordinator for the acclaimed BMCDS fabulously scary production of ‘The Haunting of Hill House’ in 2019.
